I love what he said about leadership, speaking on behalf of team, needing to be summative, not having a rousing speech, hoping people will get behind it, but asking the right questions and listening to the range of answers within the group and then speaking it, the man.

Another comment, my only concern is these podcasts are giving the opposition too much insight.

But just floods and floods of it.

I really enjoyed his company.

Like he came to talk, you know, he traveled down from Auckland and it was like two hours 40 on the longer side.

But man, some of the stuff that he shared was, yeah, like a few comments said, you don't get that insight anywhere else.

But also, like, props to Darren for fronting up to the difficult parts of the job, too, because there is that toll.

Like, he was away for so many days.

What was it, like eight months out of a year or something like that?

Yeah, two and a half days or something, yeah.

And, you know, hotel rooms and flights and being away from family and that side of it.

So it's just such a well-rounded picture of just like insight from New Zealand's most successful rugby players, how their machine works, what it took out of him personally and sort of leadership lessons he learned.
