NVIDIA is now worth $5.2 trillion.
You put those three together, NVIDIA, Alphabet and Apple, $14 trillion US dollars.
Just remarkable.
You can just see the people leaving me at the barbecues.
Tell me how much did Wall Street put on and they just run away.
Yeah, I mean, it really does continue this decoupling from Wall Street that we've been seeing.
You would normally think, for example, that our market would open higher this morning because of the records on Wall Street over the weekend.
Futures trading is actually saying otherwise.
And certainly the budget, but the Middle East is weighing heavily on our market, more so than Wall Street, really.
So, anyway, futures trading suggests we're in for a down start at least.
The coalition attracted just 22.2% of first preference votes in the FARA by-election.
One Nation took 39.4%.
I'd say this is a crisis for the coalition, but really the crisis and the rise of One Nation has been going on since the federal election one year ago.
So it's like a continuation of the crisis.
Yesterday, Shadow Treasurer Tim Wilson went as far as, well, he appeared to open the way
for Pauline Hanson and One Nation to join the coalition.
Maybe I'm reading too much into that.
When he was asked about that possibility, he said his objective was to make sure that the Liberal Party was in a position to govern as strongly as possible.
That is certainly not a no.
