It's due to start trading at about 11.30pm tonight, Eastern Time here in Australia.
Honesty, good policy.
Let's think about it.
The fact that a bunch of Aussie brokers said there was lots of interest, their individual parcels were small, suggests it might be a bit of the latter, where you just wanted to be there when it happened.
I was trying to get my head around this.
Do you remember we spoke to Cameron Gleeson from BetaShares a little while ago?
Yes.
And he was the one that really explained to me that SpaceX has the ability to launch satellites and stuff into space at a cost of about $3,000 a kilogram.
A few years back, it was $12,000.
He said in the future that could get down to $200 a kilo.
This is all US dollars.
Yeah.
So when you can suddenly throw stuff into space at that rate, at that cost...
Not only does it win you business from satellite companies putting things into space, not only does it win you business from sovereigns, countries, to undertaking security missions, it also creates whole new use cases.
And that might be, for instance, data centers in space.
Also, SpaceX needs to get its Starship, that's the name of its heavy launch rocket system, into a state of rapid usability.
Cameron Gleeson was talking about how they're getting there on that.
And we've had, in the last 12 months, some great pictures.
It was SpaceX, wasn't it?
It was capturing the rocket as it came back down.
