I look at California, I look at New York.

I listen.

I don't like the politics.

I'm not a fan of the politics of these two states, but it's American infrastructure.

Republicans and Democrats use the roads and bridges, and so let's use the money as well as possible.

Another thing they did, I mean, I think that we should have a federal priority.

Again, the Congress can send money to me to spend it on what they want, and I have to do that.

I respect them.

But if I have discretionary money, why am I building bike paths or bike trails or walking paths in some community in some part of the country

I think, again, if your state wants to do that or your community wants to do that, I'm fine with that.

That's great.

You guys should fund that.

But we should spend our money on the big projects that the states and the counties

they can't fund that themselves.

So it's through the big projects that move people, move products more effectively through the system.

But if we spend all the money on the bike lanes and the bike paths and the walking paths, that's a road or a bridge or a freeway we don't complete.

So first off, I love what you just said.

You're absolutely right.

I'm going to get to the bullet train in a second.

But liberals don't build a they seem to destroy things.
