Yeah, if you take international rights, it's at about a million.
They're a division of Random House, top business book publishers, so they have Lean Startup, Hard Thing About Hard Things, really, really good publishers.
Oh, you haven't?
I have self-published, but this is the first one that we've actually done with a publisher.
It had nothing to do with my self-publishing world.
I think just my background, the companies that I've been associated with, and then the Growth Hackers itself, I think is something that they looked at as an interesting platform.
And there's a ton of people writing books on growth hacking, but I'm the guy who came up with the term.
And so they thought they wanted to partner with me on this book, but they really, yeah, I had a lot of publishers approaching me about writing a book on growth hacking.
Over the years?
Yeah, over the years.
Wiley approached me probably three or four years ago.
And over that time, lots of publishers have approached us.
But Morgan Brown, my co-author on the book, is an awesome writer.
And so when we collaborated on the content, he's the guy who kind of turned it into the words that appear in the book.
And then because we had written this other book together that was a self-published book, we basically had that money sitting in an account that we never kind of took down for ourselves.
We basically used that money to invest in the launch of this book.
So we initially hired an editor to write a proposal.
Then we got... What did that cost?
Maybe...
Less than $10,000.
