He is one of the three or four best power hitters of his generation.
And that's it.
Now, maybe we can feel a little bit better about it when he's 33 or 34 and is dramatically declining and striking out 200 times and not walking at the rate that he's walking at this year.
But that's two to three years from now.
That's not right now.
Right now, we want
win and we want to win with Francisco Lindor and we want to win with Juan Soto and we want to win with the thrilling psychopaths and Nolan McLean and Christian Scott and he would have fit really nicely in this team.
So it's it's really painful to know.
Now just very quickly though, even if we had his four or five wins, we'd still be seven games back of the wildcard lead.
