I think anybody who's watched the hype video that they put out, that the Penguins put out yesterday, is aware that, yes, I think I had them as a bottom five team, essentially.

I thought they were going to be really, really, really bad, probably until, like, I don't know, Christmas?

Like, I kept waiting for the bottom to fall out, and they lost those eight games in a row and somehow bounced back from it.

And I think that's when I was like, oh, okay.

I might have been thinking...

I might have been thinking wrong about this team, but it took a while, man.

I thought they were going to stink.

No.

No, it's something I wrote.

It was in their season preview.

It was like a tweet of the link to the season preview.

I don't remember exactly how I phrased it, but it was basically like, this team's going to suck.

They're going to be awful.

And yeah, I stopped counting it once I hit double digits on people who sent it to me last night and thought they were breaking news.

I was like, no, that's fine.

I've been made aware.

Yes, I thought they were going to be terrible.

And it proved me wrong.

And it's been extremely fun to watch.

I think the main reason that I didn't see this coming is because I didn't account for how poor of a job Mike Sullivan pretty clearly did over the last few years.
