I would think that a McVay or a Shanahan, if this was a huge follower in the draft and they thought he had such great potential, would have taken him.

I would pair that quarterback up with Will Howard and let the best man win.

And if they fail and it's halfway through the year, you give the other quarterback a chance.

And maybe it does set you up for 2027.
