That's a dramatic increase from just two years ago when it was more like 30% of the country.
But here's the funny thing.
Only 16% of the country thinks AI will have a positive impact on society.
Two-thirds of Americans think AI technology is advancing too quickly.
And most Americans, especially young Americans, don't trust AI, nor the people in charge of it.
And all of this polling was done before an open AI agent went rogue and hacked another company.
