And what's neat about that is that when Jack actually stands up to them, it's exactly what you're supposed to do to bullies, right?
If you stand up and show that you're not scared by them, that's how you can fight a bully off.
And that seems to work for both Jack and, and Wolf, at least for a little bit.
Yes, because a little bit of this seems like a cul-de-sac where not much is happening and they're stuck in one place for a while.
And I think one of the maybe sub-layered thing is that King and Straub are talking about how these power structures and authorities can't be trusted.
Not only the governmental agencies, the police, the judge...
But then also religion.
This is not a shining example of a good picture of religion here by any means.
And I think King has always been a little bit wary of especially institutionalized religion as it is.
And I think that that shows up here.

as you say, start to move things along by showing that there are connections between our world and the territories by making the main sub boss here, a, a Twitter to somebody we've already met.
I will say that that didn't hit quite as hard for me as it could have, because I sort of had to remember like, Oh yeah, Osmond was somebody that Jack had that five minute scene with early on in the book.
So, um,
the big reveal of like, Oh my God, sunlight gardener is Osmond.
Didn't have a huge effect.
Cause I'm like, Oh yeah.
