Well, the idea that I said, Cormac, is law all and our fault.

And, you know, look, we've had many arguments about the city status of Kilkenny for a long time.

And, you know, we had an attempt, Cromwell was mentioned there.

I heard one of our local TVs recently saying that Cromwell didn't get rid of our city status and we have to fight continuously to hold on to it and for our status.

As you know, I'm not a Kilkenny native.

I moved from Kerry and absolutely delighted to move to a city

that is incredibly historic in terms of the history of Ireland, but much more importantly, since I moved there, and it's not my responsibility, in 2002, the city has grown from 18,000 people to almost 30,000.

And it's thriving and very similar to the story in Drogheda, our old comrades, in terms of having its own borough council.

And that's something I think we should return to Cormac.

We're the only country in Europe that has abolished town government.

And if it's so good, why are other countries not following us in that example?

Ironically, they called it better local government, Cormac.

And the most painful thing was that the minister responsible was from about six miles outside the city.

So it was a mistake.

And I think it's a mistake that should be reversed.

But it's a fantastic place to live.

And I missed the very start of the programme in relation to Ciarán Street.

You know, unfortunately, doing work in the city centre in places like Kilkenny, which, like Galway and other cities, are full of archaeology, it's almost impossible to open the streets in Kilkenny without, unfortunately, finding mass graves from medieval times.

So these things, unfortunately, do take time.

But the streets will be superb when it's finished.
