There's durable pumps, there's patch pumps, you know, there's
People prefer one or the other of those for different people.
So we wanna make sure we provide options there.
A third is the CGM that they work with.
People tend to be very passionate about their CGM.
So we really wanna make sure that we work with whatever CGM you're passionate about.
We've worked hard to do that.
And then the last is channel.
Channel means DME, it means pharmacy.
And why does that matter?
It matters because the pharmacy channel tends to be more inexpensive for the user.
It tends to be easier for them and the doctor.
And it tends to not lock them into a four-year commitment.
So if they don't like whatever it is that they're getting, they can move away from it.
There's lots of benefits to the pharmacy benefit channel that we've been able to access with what's historically been a DME product.
But how are we able to do that?
Frankly, it's simply the pay-as-you-go model.
What does that mean, though?
It means we don't receive a big upfront payment when we sell an islet in the pharmacy channel.
We are willing to share the risk with the insurance provider and maybe even transfer the risk to us that people are going to like our product.
