I'd be like, yeah, that's how he wins.
So we shouldn't be surprised that it happens, but I think we buy into the Eric Cole story enough to believe like, oh yeah, he's going to be our tour winner this week.
Oh yeah.
Well, you know what I think he is, is he is the epitome, the example that a lot of lower ranking players will look to as like, wow, okay, that guy gets the most out of his game.
He doesn't hit it like Rory or Bryson.
He doesn't hit it like your guest in a little bit Ludwig, like, but he gets the absolute most out of it.
And, you know, I walked
I walked nine holes with him last year at Quail Hollow during the PGA Championship.
It was a practice round.
He's out there playing with Joaquin Neiman, who for a small guy actually pumps it pretty far.
And I just asked Russ, like,
you know, what do you do on courses that are big and just kind of out of your hands?
And he goes, you know, I kind of go into the week with lesser expectations.
I certainly don't think that I will be competing in the most obvious way that it takes to win at Quail Hollow during that week.
And I think he has...
I guess perfect expectations for himself, right?
He, he will like lower his expectations when it's a super long course and then maybe surprise himself and maybe he'll heighten his expectations where he's played well in the past and then lives up to them.
So he just feels like he understands his game and has gotten more out of it.
And I think anyone can try to, you know, emulate that.
