If it's longer until he comes back, I actually think the Yankees are going to be more conservative at the trade deadline and not push.

If he is going to come back sooner, I think the Yankees are going to be more aggressive and try to add pieces around him.

So maybe the timing is to wait for that Aaron Judge injury news before you pile on potentially to the Rays' AL pennant.

and World Series bets, but I think this team is going to look a lot better in a few weeks than it does right now.

And the American League is completely wide open.

I like whoever comes out of the NL, between the Braves, the Dodgers, and the Brewers, I think, or the Phillies.

I think any of those teams will be a better option in the World Series than whatever the AL produces.

So I'd probably be targeting pennant bets as opposed to the World Series bets.

But the Rays are the one team I'm really keeping a close eye on right now.

I've been on them all year, thought they were underrated all year, but now I'm actually starting to take them more seriously as a championship contender.

Yeah, the White Sox, Chris Getz has done a phenomenal job at making sure there's as few weaknesses as possible on a roster.

There's a lot of ways you can build teams when you're trying to go from dregs of Major League Baseball to league average being a 500 team.

One of the easiest ways to do that is just to make sure you don't have bad players.

But on top of that, their player development has been pretty tremendous because Colson Montgomery was a guy who a lot of people thought the swing was not correct.

A lot of prospect evaluators thought he was going to struggle immensely at the big league level because he just couldn't figure out the swing.

He was really struggling through the early part.

of last season eventually figured it out hit 21 home runs in about 70 games and this year he looks like he's maintaining a pretty similar pace in terms of projecting out to like a 35 or 40 homer guy getting Murakami there was obviously the big addition that has really propelled them up but they ended up missing him for a large part of this year

and still played pretty well without him.

So I'd say the player development, the GM, all working in concert, have done a phenomenal job lifting this team from the bottom of the league to average.

But that said, I think this is an average team.
