It feels like it has been just because also you had the World Cup right in the middle of it and you had almost two transfer windows, Emma, because you had the period before the World Cup where people were trying to get things done.

You had that sort of phony war in the middle where the World Cup meant that a lot of players were out of action, couldn't complete medicals, weren't in a position to negotiate.

And now we're here.

It feels like we've been through, I don't know, about six months of of work.

Also there's a there's a kind of strange vibe to it where in a few instances it it seems as if players are just moving for the sake of moving.

Because ordinarily when you see some of the fees attached to those players, you think, right, this player's moving into a slot which has been designed for them or they've been scouted to fill it, whereas it's just bodies moving for big fees and fees which actually we've talked to a little bit about the normalization of going through the hundred million pound mark, which we've kind of

gone beyond this summer a few times.

But also it feels like we've normalized a big spending on kind of the middle class of the market.

So 40 million, 50 million, 60 million for players who are good, but ordinarily, not ordinarily, but previously that was that was quite a remarkable fee.

That would be a sort of a guaranteed starter, difference maker at the the probably the the top half of the Premier League.

And now it's just a going rate for a player, which is a really strange thing.
