It's okay. I understand. It's a sensitive topic, and maybe the next time I come on the show, the stickers will be gone. It's going to make him think tonight before he goes to bed, what am I doing with stickers on my laptop?
listen let's get it let's let's uh truth be told nobody listens to my podcast uh so that i mean i'm not making my bones doing podcasting pete and i been doing the podcast for 12 years as like a labor of love so for for me podcasting doesn't translate into stand-up comedy it's two different things i mean it it's either you do stand-up comedy uh The way I did it was I just concentrated on stand up.

So the whole time was stand up, going up, you know, going to to a bowling alley, going to a bar and just making my bones doing stand up. Yeah, these guys are doing podcasting and a lot of people are coming out to see them because I think they fall in love with the personality more than maybe the stand up. But nothing really has translated to my audience more than stand up comedy.

So that's where I kind of focus all my efforts. Everything else, whether it be acting or podcasting or writing a book, is, I don't know, second tier for me. You've got to devote a lot of time to one thing to be good at it. So I just devoted a lot of my time to stand up.

Yeah, I am working a lot. And, you know, being 51, sorry, Billy. You know, it's a little taxing on my body, the travel, especially in stand-up, going to all these different, you know, cities and different beds and whatnot. It's just taxing on the body. But this tour, I've been having a...

And, you know, during the off time, I throw in a TV show like Bookie, which I've had a great time doing. Chuck Lorre came up with a great idea. I got bookies coming out of the woodwork everywhere I go. I'll be at the I'll be at the air one getting a smoothie and a guy come up to me going, let me be a consultant. I've been doing this for 30 years. So. The bookie is not dead.

Although there's a lot of fan duels and DraftKings and what have you, a lot of people I've found in doing this show really, really love using a bookie because of the personal relationship, the kind of flexibility you have in regards to paying him or her back.

And this show kind of follows and chronicles the life of a bookie who I think the connotation is the bookie is some guy who's 300 pounds and he's in his basement and he's going to break your legs. However, you know, bookie's got a wife, bookie's got a kid, bookie's got a mother-in-law. So we kind of tackle all those different areas of Danny, who I play on the show, and people seem to love it.

So are you not using the bookie anymore? Have you went to this online? DraftKings.
