On stripping security details for figures like John Bolton, Pompeo, Brian Hook, Senator Tom Cotton said that he's seen the intelligence and the threat from Iran is real for anyone who played a role in Soleimani's strike. He voiced concern it wouldn't just impact those individuals, but potentially their family, innocent bystanders, friends, anyone who's near them when they're out in public.
Is the President open to reconsidering his decision?
so far since President Trump came back into office. Can you just tell us the numbers? How many have a criminal record versus those who are just in the country illegally?
Today, we made an offer that the Ukrainians have accepted, which is to enter into a ceasefire and into immediate negotiations to end this conflict in a way that's enduring and sustainable and accounts for their interests, their security, their ability to prosper as a nation.
I want to personally thank, we both want to thank, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Majesty, for hosting us, for making this possible. They've been instrumental in this process, and we're very grateful to them for hosting us here today. And hopefully we'll take this offer now to the Russians. And we hope that they'll say yes, that they'll say yes to peace. The ball is now in their court.
You see what he did here?
Something else we got out of the business of, it wasn't widely reported, or maybe it was. We had an office in the Department of State whose job it was to censor Americans. And by the way, I'm not gonna say who it is. I'll leave it up to them. There's at least one person at this table today who had a dossier in that building. of social media posts to identify them as purveyors of disinformation.
We have these dossiers. We are going to be turning those over to these individuals. We can follow up with the media. Well, we are going to turn over these dossiers to the individuals, and they'll decide whether they want to disclose it or not. But just think about it.
The Department of State of the United States had set up an office to monitor the social media posts and commentary of American citizens to identify them as vectors of disinformation, when we know that the best way to combat disinformation is freedom of speech and transparency. And so that's what we're going to be in the business of doing. We're not going to have an office that does that.
And folks, what we are experiencing right now is exactly what they envisioned for America. Right now, we are living in their vision for America.
In fact, please allow me, friends, to digress for a moment. Okay. It's kind of dark in here, but I'm asking a show of hands. Who saw that video from a couple of weeks ago? The one of the elephants at the San Diego Zoo during the earthquake?
Google it if you've not seen it. So that scene has been on my mind.
Here those elephants were.
And as soon as they felt the earth shaking beneath their feet, They got in a circle and stood next to each other.
Wait.
have been speaking with moral clarity.
Based on your time as a DEA agent in the field, particularly in Mexico, these tattoos are consistent. with MS-13 associations?
Do you know of any other set of combinations that would suggest some other organization this represents?
Three U.S. citizens, ages four, seven and two, were not deported. Their mothers, who are legally in this country, were deported. The children went with their mothers. Those children are U.S. citizens. They can come back into the United States if there's their father or someone here who wants to assume them. But ultimately, who was deported was their mother, their mothers who were here illegally.
The children just went with their mothers. But it wasn't like you guys make it sound like ICE agents kicked down the door and grabbed the two-year-old and threw him on an airplane. That's misleading. That's just not true.
Well, no, no, no, no, no. Again, if someone's in this country unlawfully, illegally, that person gets deported. If that person is with a two year old child or has a two year old child and says, I want to take my child with you with me. Well, then what? You have two choices. You can say, yes, of course, you can take your child, whether they're a citizen or not, because it's your child.
Or you can say, yes, you can go, but your child must stay behind. And then your headlines would read U.S. holding hostage two year old, four year old, seven year old while mother deported. So the mother, the parents make that choice. I imagine those three U.S. citizen children have fathers here in the United States. They can stay with their father.
That's up to their family to decide where the children go. Children go with their parents. Parents decide where their children go. The U.S. deported their mothers who were illegally in America.
I think President Trump is very upset at President Zelensky, in some cases, and rightfully so. Look, number one, Joe Biden had frustrations with Zelensky. People shouldn't forget it.
There are newspaper articles out there about how he cursed at him in a phone call because Zelensky, instead of saying, thank you for all your help, is immediately out there messaging what we're not doing or what he's not getting. I think the second thing is, frankly, I was personally very upset because we had a conversation with President Zelensky, the vice president and I, the three of us.
And we discussed this issue about the mineral rights. And we explained to them, look, we wanna be a joint venture with you, not because we're trying to steal from your country, but because we think that's actually a security guarantee. If we're your partner in an important economic endeavor, we get to get paid back some of the money the taxpayers have given, close to $200 billion.
And it also, now we have a vested interest in the security of Ukraine. And he said, sure, we wanna do this deal. It makes all the sense in the world. The only thing is I need to run it through my legislative process. they have to approve it. I read two days later that Zelensky is out there saying, I rejected the deal. I told them no way that we're not doing that.
Well, that's not what happened in that meeting. So you start to get upset by somebody. We're trying to help these guys. One of the points the president made in his messaging is not that we don't care about Ukraine, but Ukraine is on another continent. It doesn't directly impact the daily lives of Americans. We care about it because it has implications for our allies and ultimately for the world.
There should be some level of gratitude here about this. And when you don't see it and you see him out there accusing the president of living in a world of disinformation, that's highly, very counterproductive.
