And that became a very, very big issue, as you know.

But, you know, I think we are starting definitely to feel the threat from Unitarian states like that of Russia and China, especially in this region.

The Japanese are feeling that threat very much compared to like decades ago.

So obviously, if you asked the Japanese 20 years ago to basically increase your military spending GDP over 2%, it would have been a big, big mess.

And to free up exporting our arms capability, that would have been a big no.

But now you see the most public saying yes to that.

That already shows you what kind of threat that we are feeling from China.

Well, you know, look at the stock market, for example, one of the biggest rise that we've been seeing is not only semiconductors, but defence related, because again, there's been deregulation about the Japanese companies that are now being able to

build, create, and export these arms, which had been banned under our constitution, but that's going to be changed.

So obviously, there is a positivity from that perspective that's happening.

But again, things are quite different if you look from a geological or geopolitical sense, in the sense that Japan is under the umbrella of the United States as far as security is concerned, without a speck of doubt.

I mean, we have 130 U.S.

bases here, and if it wasn't there, we might be seeing Chinese flag on top of Mount Fuji, unfortunately.

So we are totally dependent on United States barrier, and we recognize that.

And for that reason, as NATO did this time, we always have to make sure that U.S.

is not, I would say, feeling aside.

Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

Well, you know, the Japanese government is playing a very difficult point.
