ambassador Michael Waltz, who said on Fox News on Sunday that the president's patience isn't going to last forever.
President Trump has also made it clear that he is losing patience with all of this.
After the latest U.S.
strike, he posted this warning that there may come a point when the U.S.
can no longer be reasonable and will be forced to militarily complete the job.
So there's not really any signs at this point of how this de-escalates from this continued tit for tat.
Well, first of all, that memorandum of understanding, Brad, that Trump signed with Iran in that deal, Iran promises to reopen the Strait.
But we haven't seen that.
Instead, we've seen Iran trying to control it.
Iran's foreign minister now claiming Iran alone manages the Strait, warning against any interference.
We've, of course, also seen these tit for tat strikes escalating because of those strikes on ships trying to cross through the Strait.
the threat level is still substantial.
And that's what the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations is saying, which tracks security at sea.
So what's clear from all of this is that it's going to be very hard to get traffic back to those pre-war levels, given the ongoing strikes that are happening there, as well as the dispute between the U.S.
and Iran about what the MOU actually says about who controls the strait.
