The reason we ended up with such a bad deal is the president went into this ill-informed about Iran, about the region, without a clear idea of why he was going to war, without a clear objective in mind, with no end strategy in mind.

You have others saying that he was, I think most charitably, saying that he was poorly advised.
That's always the disclaimer made.
Trump never makes bad decisions.
He's just poorly advised.
But then you have others saying giving billions of dollars to a murderous regime bent on our destruction, generally not a good idea.
So there have been a number of Republicans already, and I think more in the coming days, who are trashing this.
