So we have a Secretary of Defense.

They were impressive, skilled, capable career military officers.
And it sends a heck of a message when one of the first things you do is to fire the heads of the JAGs, the offices that are responsible for enforcing the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
And most of the inspectors general and a series of senior leaders, both in the military and in other departments, simply saying these are DEI hires.
I didn't get data or reports from him, but I will say this.
I am confident that the vast majority of agents in the FBI continue to show up, work hard, solve crimes, and deliver good results for the American people almost literally every day.
What starts happening in an organization where you get promoted, demoted, fired based on loyalty, not performance, is that that is gradually corrosive.
That has profound consequences.
