He was so focused on how we keep our country safe.
One of the things I have worked with him on is
is our Election Security Partnership Act, which would tighten up how states are going to be compensated when they give some more money on their grants when they check their voter rolls against the DHS SAVES system, which is the database that has all of
the legal and illegal aliens, known illegal aliens that are in the country, and boots them out.
And that legislation would give them a plus up in their grants, you know, basically incentivizing them for doing the right thing.
And likewise, he and I had a bill, the 287G Enhancement Act, which would give a plus up on grants for local law enforcement agencies that enter in
to an agreement with ICE and federal law enforcement to deport criminal illegal aliens.
And Lindsey was a funny guy.
I had the opportunity to campaign with him in South Carolina.
He campaigned in Tennessee with me.
And I know that he is going to be missed.
He was such an outstanding voice when it came to defending our nation and our freedoms
and trying to resolve conflicts around the globe.
He was certainly someone that president Trump listened to and talked to with on a, on a regular basis.
