The marginalized communities that we serve are the ones that the quote-unquote conventional medical establishment don't care for.
Yeah, but people, you know, 85% of our clients are still actively using.
People involved in sex work.
People just coming out of incarceration.
People experiencing homelessness.
You know, the ones who are looked down on.
Usually by medical professionals.
You know, there's huge medical mistrust within our communities.
Because we've been treated like garbage before.
Once you go into the ER for care and you're honest and yes, I have a history of addiction.
