Well, yeah, Josh, the short version of it, the deputy treated this as a grown woman who'd walked out after a fight.

This is not a crime scene.

This is a missing person because the story that Dale tells him is that there's nothing on the surface that contradicts it.

And also remember that Dee did this before.

After a fight, she would go to the lake house.

She would disappear for a couple of days later.

So when Austin Hall, Deputy Austin Hall of the Lenawee County shows up, he just responds to a missing person.

So nothing really tips him off that there's foul play here.

That assumption is not correct.

Angelina is being raised by the Warner side of the family.

Not to my knowledge because, you know, when Dee goes missing, it's not a crime at the time.

She stays with the father until he's later charged and convicted of murder.

Exactly.

So essentially, Angelina lost both of her parents.

Right.

So that's a that's a real tragedy in cases like that.

And unfortunately, we do see that quite often when we cover stories like this.
