But what they're saying inherently, knowing that Andy Reid has never prioritized the run game,
And then, you know, at the end of the season, they said some stuff about the run game, which I think was intentional.
You see them clean house with the coaching staff on the offensive side of the ball, not the defensive side of the ball, just the offensive side of the ball.
And so what you see there is that's them saying this isn't the personnel issue, right?
This is them saying it's not that we need an X-wide receiver who can beat man coverage because they had guys they could have picked to do that.
They had multiple guys they could have grabbed.
And not just even at the beginning of the first round.
They were in the striking range of Casey Concepcion, who has great film, winning one-on-one against man coverage.
They had ways they could have gone.
They had free agents they could have signed.
Instead, they used the money to bring back Travis Kelsey, bring back Taequann Thornton, both moves that I like.
And that really is saying, if the run game is better...
And the offense is always going to revolve around the passing game with Andy Reid, make no mistake.
But if the running game is better and the coaching is better, the offense will be good.
And that means that it really is on Andy Reid.
Because, yes, changing up the running back matters a ton, especially when it's that sizable an upgrade.
But the pass game is what everything revolves around.
And they had opportunities to add talent to the offensive side of the ball and chose largely to just run it back.
So that is openly saying, no, this was a coaching issue.
And then by turning over multiple major components of the offensive staff, you're saying they were not implementing things appropriately or coaching it appropriately, whatever it is.
