When we're unsure of something, we use it seems blue to me, is that we would be using that as a qualifying term, saying, Well, I'm not sure you're not playing a joke on me or a trick on me where you might have changed all the light in that room.

So I know you're a a really wily dude there, Seth, and you might have been trying to make a play a trick on me when it's actually blue, and you just made it look like it was blue, so it seems blue.
