We grew up in a small town in the middle of Iowa in the Midwest.

I mean, there's obviously some sort of working relationship.

I mean, they were probably, like the Lopez's, were probably the only Hispanic people in the entire town.

Otherwise, you know, we wouldn't be able to go out there and have matches.

But I just at the time when I was growing up, you know, probably from at least like, you know, age two to I would have been 14.

But there's just so much.

It's so complex.

I think maybe once we're both away from the business or retired or hung it up, there might be an opportunity for reconciliation there.

It never even dawned on me that my parents were in like an interracial relationship.

Um, it's just so hard for me to separate the CM Punk that there is now from the CM Punk that, um, was a really rotten friend to me 10 years ago.

Wow.

Like it never even occurred to me to think that way.

You know what I mean?

It wasn't until that concept started to like permeate your psyche at an older age.

You know, when you kind of understand relationships and like that, like.

And so it's, it's just those, those wounds take time to heal.
