They blame other people or the system or doctors, which is really hard not to do when it's a situation like this.
They become resentful.
Why is that family healthy and mine not?
And then they also get stuck in dwelling in past hurts.
This is so unfair.
This happened to me.
I was hurt here.
And they tell that story continually.
So I don't hear any of that coming through your story.
The next one is your agency.
So you said that you didn't allow the fact that you didn't have the credential to dissuade you.
In fact, it propelled you because you noticed that, hey, just because I don't have this doesn't make me any less capable to do this and to research this.
So that's an extremely high degree of agency.
You set a goal, you know you can achieve it.
You knew you had to learn, but you also trusted that you would be able to learn.
So that's fantastic.
The other thing that was really interesting is I didn't hear any lack of acceptance, which would be,
What if I do this and it turns, you know, I share something and it turns out to be wrong and then someone pokes holes in it and then I feel like I failed.
I didn't feel like that was part of your journey.
And probably the reason why is you had such a strong drive to do this, not for yourself, but for your mother, for your family.
