And so when it comes to acceptance, I don't feel like you had issues with acceptance.
One of the things that I talk about in the book for acceptance is there is this overarching gift
that you can tap into, which allows you to basically forget yourself.
And it's called self-forgetting.
When you do anything for someone else, whether it is a family member, whether it is a community, when you want to be of value and of service, it shrinks that ego voice because acceptance is driven by what will they think about me?
How am I coming across?
How am I perceived?
Do they like me?
Do they love me?
It's very me, me, I, right?
As soon as you go them, her,
It shrinks that part of the voice.
It has this shrinking self effect.
And that's what I was hearing as you were sharing that.
What I loved as well, you said that you had an inventory of your skills.
So if anyone struggles with agency, which means, okay, let, you know what?
I think it's worthwhile.
Let's quickly go through these, some of the attributes and what the most common themes are or habits that come through.
So if we look at acceptance, if someone struggles with acceptance, they tend to fall into the likability trap.
