Their self-image is locked in.
Or they believe they have no control.
Even if I change how I eat and go to the gym, nothing's gonna change.
Nothing's gonna change.
They're going into that victim mentality of powerlessness.
Or there's that element around emotions.
Now, how do emotions fit with our health and wellness journey?
When we are feeling
low, when we're feeling anxious, when we are insecure, it follows through to how we feel physically.
It affects our energy.
It affects whether we are going to put on those shoes and go to the gym or whether we just feel like withdrawing, retreating, going in a Netflix binge, right?
So all of these things are connected.
And that's why it's so important when you acknowledge that big trust is really at the core of changing our self image and changing our lives, not only at work, in our relationships, but even from a health perspective.
So if we then jump across to this third pillar of autonomy, what do we see in autonomy?
I shared this a little bit before, it's the blame, it's the complaining, it's the resentment, it's the dwelling on past hurts.
And from a health perspective, you will see this as someone looking on social media, seeing someone with a six pack and going, it's not fair.
It's so easy for them.
They don't have kids, excuses, blame, resentment, or I could never do what that person's doing.
Nothing's going to change for me.
Again, getting stuck in these patterns.
