That anger could be telling you that you really value justice.
And then how you channel that anger is, okay, I'm going to do something about this.
I'm going to go and talk to that person.
I'm going to go and seek justice here.
So you can use, so emotions are usually reflecting unexpressed values and where a value has been violated.
Okay, I want to touch on values here because I think, again, there's this misconception.
We often say, what are your top three values?
What are your...
I don't think it works like this.
I think we have hundreds of values.
And someone might say, oh, but there's only 47 in such and such scale.
I think there's a lot more.
We're so complex and we experience things differently.
And so that idea of like your top three, your top five, I kind of disagree with that.
Even though sometimes in our programs, we will get people to go through the exercise.
We have a lot, right?
And so if you have an emotion that you're experiencing, like, okay, I'm talking and someone cuts me off,
And I feel really aggravated by that.
That was very rude and I feel insignificant.
What is the value that is being violated right there?
