yes right now i think the simple reality before the blue jays is
whoever's hitting has to play and the runway for guys to figure things out, unless you're, you know, one of the top dogs is probably going to get shorter.
And if you're being productive, they're not looking to take productive bats out of the lineup or give them less playing time.
And so that's why Piniango has gotten as much run as he has.
And, and certainly Jesus Sanchez of late and,
it's just, it's a competitive environment, which is what you want, what the Blue Jays had hoped to be in.
And if they get to the point where they can get back, you know, David Schneider being up, gets back to that a little bit more of that right-left balance where you can try to
outmaneuver or just get the better matchup in specific situations.
That's something that they did last year.
You get more of that lineup optimization and sort of individual plate appearance optimization.
Then the Blue Jays start being a little bit more of what they were last year.
And maybe that leads to some of the more consistent production as well.
I mean, I haven't heard anything to suggest that it's not good and it's not productive.
And David Popkins' style isn't so much to say, get your hands up.
