I think if that's how it rolled out, I don't think that's a bad outcome for the Blue Jays.

Well, the Blue Jays, as you mentioned, they clearly need to address the rotation.
And, look, I don't think that the Blue Jays would necessarily pay that price in terms of Cal Stephen if they didn't think this was at least a possibility.
I wonder if before Bieber ended up doing that deal with Cleveland, you know, the Blue Jays kick some cans around there.
I would think that you make this move with an eye on at least the possibility of having that be extended and not just be a rental situation.
And so just like when they gave up Austin Martin, Simeon Woods Richardson, they had a year and a half of Jose Barrios, but it was immediately that off season where they looked to extend them and got it done.
