Listen, I guess we have to give Spurs credit for their second-half performance to get themselves back in the game.
But I thought the bigger story is Man City and their implosion.
This was a cruise of a first 45.
I mean, when you think of Man City in the first half, you thought of big performances from Cherokee, from Semenu.
from Rodri, Gehi, who's positioning again, outstanding.
We'd barely seen Donnarumma in the first 45.
Haaland, a little bit disappointing.
He had opportunities, and as I mentioned during the highlight, which I would have put my mortgage on, on him finishing, but didn't.
The first goal scores, or Solanke scores his first goal, and I guess it's unanimous.
I'm not sure why VAR spent as much time as they do looking for offside.
I cannot explain that, and nor will I try to start.
But from then, it felt like City were about to implode.
And I said as much watching the second half, that what are the chances that Spurs get themselves back in this game?
And then as the second half went on, truth be told...
While Donald Ruma conceded two, he was easily City's best player in the second 45.
I cannot think of anybody else, for all the praise that I just put on the other, the other names that I just called, I cannot think of a single incident in the second half that any Manchester City player covered themselves in any kind of glory.
