There are going to be major seasons that are not the most exciting.
That can obviously change if you get some Scotty, Bryson, Jon Rahm duel this week at the Open Championship.
But the question is, will that be just four random strange events, or will we have something that makes a little bit more sense and kind of keeps the tradition going at Berkdale with the awesomeness of their past champions?
Also, something that I didn't realize is – and this is my next thing –
can the run of first time open winners continue?
We're on a run of 12 straight winners that have won the open their first time and only time to this point, going back to Phil in 2013.
So you think about like a Tommy Fleetwood, a John Rahm, a Matt Fitzpatrick, all those guys kind of fit that mold in terms of somebody that haven't won an open but could continue the run that we've been on where the open winner has not won an open before.
