I met friends that are still my best friends and we were just empowered to kind of tell your own story in your own way.

And I think any of that kind of youth work works is effective if the young people feel the ownership over what they're doing.

And I'm eternally grateful for it.

Yeah, I think so.

And I think the lessons that you can learn from theatre are transferable.

Like, you know, they work across different aspects of your life.

Certainly now, because I work as a performer still now.

But yeah, I learned a lot.

I learned a lot.

It was like it was like a crash course all the time.

Learned a lot and learned a lot about yourself and your push to, you know, when you're making work, that's the aim was to be able to be relevant to the lives of young people.

And so when you're making that kind of work, stuff comes up, feelings come up and thoughts come up.

And we were always managed and held very well.

Yeah, I do think it was the making of me, not just for the art and the participation in that, but I think meeting the people I've met, it was just the right time.

I struggled.

I tried to think of a song for this time and I tried to think of a song for those people and I struggled a bit.

But I remember even, this isn't one of my choices, but I remember saying early on, I was still nervous.

I was only just joined and I was like, oh, I'm listening to this CD.

They're like, what are you listening to?

And I was like, oh, they felt a bit embarrassed.
