Yeah, absolutely.

That's probably a fair way to describe it.

Yeah, look, winning is absolutely imperative and important to us, and that's what we're aiming to do.

But while we're going through this development phase, we want to make sure we can see the young players come through and play in the positions that ultimately they're going to be playing in.

So you'll see Sam Cumming going through the middle, Sam Lawler will be back today.

And so giving them midfield minutes time, making sure they're playing in these positions that they're ultimately going to be playing in, some of our more mature players do step away and retire once they get to the end of their careers.

So that's ultimately what we're looking at, developing young players, seeing improvement in them across the list and playing a style and a way that we know is going to win games of football.

We're not just going to come out here and play ultra defensive and just lock other teams down.

We want to make sure we've got a really solid game plan that's going to allow us to win in years to come.

Yeah, so the thing that we focus on is growth isn't linear.

I think a couple of years ago we had two wins and five wins and we're at two sitting right now.

It isn't just linear.

You don't just go two, five, eight and suddenly you're in finals.

That's just not the way this game works.

So we're seeing individual growth in players.

We're even seeing moments within games.

If you look at even last year, there were times when

teams would get ascendancy on us in a quarter and we couldn't arrest it in a quarter.

We were able to do that a few times this year.

So we're seeing momentum shifts, which we can make changes on the fly, in the game, on the run, and not have to wait for a quarter time, half time and so forth.
