What do you feel about this Irish team moving forward?
Because if I take you back to the 14th of October last year, half-time 0-0 home to Armenia in a game that we had to win and it didn't look like we would.
And what's happened since that moment?
It's been an incredible improvement and they've taken the country with them.
And there's an emotional attachment with this side now.
But is it sustainable?
Is there something to hope for here in the future?
that we were in this position that we were ready to go after it you know completely different tone of voice and completely different feel so hopefully they can give us more of them nights what the joy lips say in the commitments joy the lips it's more romantic this way didn't work out when he tries to justify the the spanning of the band listen you have bigger fish to fry today you go enjoy your day in London
Appreciate it.
Big time.
Thanks, Andy.
That's the former Republic of Ireland creative midfielder, of course, Andy Reid, sharing his thoughts.
He was on yesterday.
He's very excited, Shane.
He nailed the tone both times.
Just something to look forward to here.
So the Ireland fixtures for the rest of the year, Andy was talking about that, we have to keep this going.
So we have North Macedonian Tuesday, as we know, and then next out we have Qatar in a friendly on the 28th of May and then the Nations League starts on the 24th of September away to Kosovo.
And then, of course, we have those Israel games to contend with and Austria as well.
So you're looking at autumn before we play anything of note.
