You know who he reminds me a lot of and Canuck fans might raise an eyebrow is actually Trevor Linden.

So he's a guy that could give you 70 points a year because he will sacrifice points for the betterment of the team.

I think some of the best things that he does is he recognizes his back check of where he needs to get to quickly, gets on top of that hip, gets a stick into a lane, gets control sticks, angles hard, and he battles.
Like, he battles for pucks.
And he forces you to make a play you don't want to make.
And in a young player, that's not terribly consistent.
But when I look at centermen in this draft class, or even Stenberg,
who is a winger who plays like a center in many respects.
It's the off-puck game in that, is understand your defensive responsibilities and how consistent are you in that.
And I think Caleb Mahotra, much like his father in that respect, I just think if they're patient with Caleb and you don't put him into the deep end of the pool too quickly, how many prospects have we seen get ruined because it's too much too soon?
You come in as an 18 or 19-year-old, it's a terrible mistake.
Just keep them out of there.
If they draft him at three, I can understand the justification.
