Well, that's the risk, but trying to predict when that will be, I think, is really, really hard.
It's like the Australian property market.
There's people out there saying they claim to predict the GFC and predict everything else or property crashes around the corner, but they've been saying that for 20 years now.
It becomes like a broken record.
So, yes, I would say, yes, it's foreseeable that at some point there is a day of reckoning out there.
We may lose faith in Donald Trump.
His political constraints next year after the midterms are less than they are now.
The inflation situation could prove to be a lot more sticky.
And eventually investors and people generally think, well, maybe this inflation story is here to stay, therefore interest rates should be a lot higher.
So there is that risk out there, but trying to predict when that will be
uh is really really hard so i would say it is foreseeable yes there could be a day of reckoning at some point but trying to forecast when that might be is the problem because a forecast or prediction requires um a view as to when that you know what prices will do i.e fall in this case and also the timing i think that's the difficult part
Well, I think it's just a guessing game.
It's really, really hard.
And I don't know what the answer is.
I mean, I didn't participate in it.
I was a bit sceptical of it.
And I sort of had this wariness around big IPOs like that because I know they create a lot of excitement, but I also know that they're sucking money out of the market.
that people are being relieved of their cash, which potentially removes a source of support for the market down the track.
I'm also conscious that when you look at IPOs quantitatively, they often have an initial spurt, but then a year down the track, they're not doing so well.
The IPO that we all got excited about last year was the Guzman-Wygoma's
