So, you know, get to know yourself.

Make a decision with conviction.

And then commit to it.

Commit to the decision.

Yeah.

I suffered from stage fright a lot when I was, well, for most of my life, in fact.

And I really realized in my 50s, it came to me that this is really, it does take a lot of courage to get up there on stage in the spotlight, to commit to something.

the way you're going to look, the way, you know, to commit to the production, to commit to the songs, to commit to the whole process.

And then get out there always, you know, sometimes to be admired and to be respected, but also to be criticized.

So it,

They come together.

There's no way you ever walk away without being criticized.

And so it takes courage to get out there and go, okay, this is my best foot forward right now.

And I'm going to enjoy it for what it is and not let my fear...

you know, get in the way because, um, but anyway, that took me a long time.

Fear got in the way for many, many, many years.

And I realized I wasn't enjoying so much of what I was doing because of that.

Um, so yeah, it's, uh, it does take courage.

I give myself credit for the courage that it takes and, and then I commit and accept that commitment to more as another day.
