Tell these incredible stories and very visual.
And so I believed.
I'm thinking, yeah, okay, well, even if they, you know, I don't have to really understand what I'm saying if I didn't write it.
I just got to get into the musicality of it.
So I learned a lot being a childhood bar singer.
Spelling, counting.
I mean, they say that I've influenced them.
I think we all need to be influenced to some degree.
We need inspiration from other artists, other platforms of performing arts in general, period, and other people's experiences.
But I do believe adding a sense of humor, even to darker subjects or more sensitive subjects, is a really great way of communicating what you're trying to say
So that you get the message across before the door is shut, before somebody is offended.
Put it in the right order first.
So even on the new album, Little Miss Twain, I reflected back on all of those years pre-recording artist and with a smile, even though so many of those years were really, really, really tough.
I want to, you just have to, you know, sometimes you just have to laugh or you just have to, you have to stay positive and optimistic.
You know, for me, the glass is half full.
Otherwise, forget it.
I would have quit at so many stumbling blocks along the way.
I would never, you know, with the wrong attitude, forget it.
My life would have taken me somewhere very different and not, you know, certainly or likely not to success.
