Joby Hall was born in Cynthiana, but in August of 1956, he got his first job in basketball as the head coach of the Shepherdsville High School Rams.
Upon accepting the job, he found out he would also be coaching the football, the baseball teams, and the P.E.
class.
The football coach got drafted into the service right when Joby Hall got hired.
So Joby had to coach football.
