Your towel is a part of your equipment because for your gloves to function properly, it has to have a certain amount of moisture to it.
So whether it's in dry conditions and you put a whole lot of water in it and then kind of sap it till it's just right, or as in the Afghan final, it's raining down and you've got to, again, just keep them dry so they function well.
I liken it to, as I did on the show, to any normal player's boots or cleats.
You won't mess with that, depending on weather conditions.
And for a goalkeeper, you're messing with how our gloves function.
That towel is a part of that, of our equipment.
So, I mean, you see, I keep giggling because it's just so farcical.
You have officials jumping, you have ball boys running down players, you have subs coming off the bench and running after technically subs.
