So an AI jailbreak in this case would be used to trick an AI to kind of bypass its built-in safety guardrails.
And you can sort of manipulate the prompt in various ways
People have tested all sorts of things.
You can buy past these sort of alignment rules that would normally prevent the model from generating harmful content or instructions for malware, say, and compel the AI to produce outputs when it was supposed to refuse those outputs.
But jailbreaking, I've been told by many experts, is not like something you can fully ever get away from.
You have to manage it.

So that's where you kind of wonder like, you know, what's the real problem here?

So, but supposedly from what I've read, the negotiations have not led to the Trump administration allowing the model to go back up again.
It's not.
And I think that's why there's just a lot of uncertainty out there.
We're seeing that other companies like OpenAI are kind of waiting before they put out their next models because no one's really sure what's happening.
