Yeah, yes, of course, yeah, we can have these these principles, but actually what what teachers want, uh, you know, particularly new teachers, is okay, that principle's fine, but how do I do that really, really well in my lesson?

And I think questioning is a really good example of that.

You know, we can talk about the um you know the idea of asking you really good questions and um ex expanding the think and participation ratio.

But if I'm a new teacher, how do I actually do that?

So if I'm told, okay, so one way that you can do that is you can ask a question and then you can leave a pause and you can say, Is everyone thinking?

and then direct it at a student.

Yeah, that that's that's a very practical way of making that principle come alive.

Um and I don't think there's anything wrong with that and yeah.

Yeah, the two certainly aren't mutually exclusive, I don't think.

Um, it just makes perfect perfect sense to me.

Um yeah, these principles shape and frame what we do.

But what teachers want is okay, right.

Can you tell me, you know, how how I can do that?

Um and our our our teachers it's it's interesting because y you know, one of the criticisms of that approach is that, well, you know, you're just creating

a fleet of robot teachers who aren't thinking for themselves.

And you know, I I I really don't think that's the case at all.
