And honestly, you know, the single digits are all special.
Right?
And that's why we always talked about that.

Like, it was special.
You know, Yogi Berra, all those guys, right?
But the reality, and I want to say that, I want to be clear, like, I'm not taking a shot at Paul O'Neal.
Good for him.
Yeah.
That his number's retired.
I think the only guys of that era that, frankly, in my opinion, whose number should have been retired because it was so special.
Yeah.
Like, that was something no other franchise had.
That you couldn't argue that the numbers that have been retired, A, were all Hall of Famers, right?
B, won a lot of World Series championships.
And for a lot of those guys, at some level of their career, were regarded as the best at whatever position they happened to play, right?
So, to me, Derek Jeter is the captain.
Clearly, that's a no-brainer.
And Mariano Rivera has the greatest closer of all time.
No Paul O'Neill.
