Now they opened up the window and we saw him struggle with a bag.
Which, to be fair, the question needs to be asked.
If you've got the amount of money they've got invested in him, and his bat is so important to the Yankees' offense, especially come the postseason, why did we not operate on both elbows?
And if we acknowledge he's going to miss 40, 50, 60 games anyway, because that's what he typically does, then I don't need him in April and May.
Have the surgery in October of last year and be ready to go in June.
That's malfeasance to your fan base.
They don't think the surgery would necessarily help.
Well, I disagree.
Because he's not any better today, so not having surgery didn't help either.
If you can't open up a bag of chips seven months after your last at-bat, then you should have the freaking surgery.
And I'm bothered by it.
Because we deserve you being at your best.
And there's no way you're going to be at your best.
How can you say that when literally the last year of him playing through this was him at his best?
Right?
