No, this is huge.

I think this is massive.

And again, as I as I shared earlier, I think this is a massive um benefit for hosts that are looking for direct bookings because the walled gardens of the OTAs that once existed are being threatened by this new this new way of search.

Uh and and and it used to be that

that to get good at SEO

uh you know took a lot of time and it took a lot of money and it took a lot of expertise that is also being disrupted significantly as well.

And so the not only on the the way the guests are searching is changing, but the ability for a host in the middle of uh you know the world to show up in that search is significantly easier

than it was before, especially if it's, you know, a nice fit for the to what the traveler's looking for.

Yeah, I think it's um it's an interesting one as far as where where things will play out.

You know, we've seen some of the OTAs partner with um the LMs, especially with uh, you know, booking and uh expedia with with open AI.

We've seen Airbnb uh kind of hold out for now on that and and keeping their inventory

walled off to the LLMs, which is interesting.

Um so and and Google is is now starting to dabble into into these verticals with with AI and and Gemini.

Who knows, right?

I I think this is go a number of of directions.

I think this will put pressure on the OTAs, uh, the ones that have it at least to expose their inventory to the LMs, because ultimately if they don't, then I think uh the ones that are exposing their inventory to the LMs will benefit from it and they'll get the share of the gross booking volume and

those that aren't won't.

Um as far as Google, I think the you know, Google is learning on on um what they've done in the past and and travel.

I think and given all the other things that they got going on, I think this will be maybe a lower priority or distraction for them.

And so they won't be focusing as much as they tried a few years ago.
