You know, I'd get down on his level.

I tried like talking to him, we tried talking about things he could do.

I tried getting him engaged in activities, like all sort of my strategies and nothing was working.

Right.

Um, and so eventually, unfortunately, I did have to just leave him crying.

Um, because I had to go.

And so now I'm like looking back on the moment and that's where um certainly was not a great transition.

Uh, but I don't want this to happen again.

Um, and so when I look back at sort of what happened in that transition, I lingered too long.

Um, me and a staycare provider were chit chatting for a little bit.

Which was needed.

Yeah.

Uh but again I was we were just kind of standing there and so then he got time to sort of like sit and like think.

Um and then as well there was two other kids getting dropped off and they were both crying and didn't want to leave their mums.

And then one of them ended up transitioning.

The other one was still having a rough time.

Um, so I feel like the environment just like wasn't really um

conducive to me leaving uh with a happy child today.

Um and so as a behavior analyst, I think I've identified some of those like factors that probably contributed to it.
